You can opt out to the Holiday Bridge League but still save loyalty points.
Points for the Bridge Holiday league will stop and revert to zero after the results are finalised on the 7th of February 2025.
Points that have not been used for the Loyalty Reward Scheme roll over each year.
Points awarded for your single or group holiday bookings and for any competitions won are only added after each holiday finishes.
Only the main competitions where prizes are given on our holidays will count for these additional points.
Points awarded for recommendations are added as soon as we have confirmed the recommended person is a new customer to Guaranteed Events, Bridge Overseas or the Irish Bridge Festival.
Recommendations need to be people that are not already on our database have not booked a holiday with us before, have some level of interest in booking on of our holidays and play duplicate bridge. Name, Address, number and email address are required.
Points won have no cash value and you can only use the points as a discount on your next new booking.
This promotion is still applicable if you have been offered and booked any last minute cancellation or deal.
You need to collect a minimum of 1,000 points before you use them as discount off your next new booking.
Points have a discount value of 5p per point.
If you have to cancel a booking the discount will be carried forward as long as enough notice of cancellation has been given.
Your points total for the Bridge Holiday League is not affected when you cash in your loyalty points and we will keep an internal record of this.
Points can not be transferred to another person or merged together.
Loyalty points can only be used on holidays subject to availability and can never be used to be deducted off of a booking already made.
Couples will always have an individual points tally but they can be used in conjunction for the same new holiday booking.
The points for group bookings are awarded after the event or holiday has taken place and to the group leader and restricted to one person per event and applies if the group booking is repeated.
The top 20 positions and prizes will be decided on the 7th of February 2025 and in the same month each year thereafter.
Those in the top 20 places will receive holiday discount vouchers from £500 for first place down to £50 in twentieth position.
Should there be more than two people on the same points in the top 20 for each prize then names will be drawn to decide the positions and the losers of the draw will then receive the next prize down the order.
EBU master points continue to be awarded and play no part in this completely separate promotion.
All decisions on these two promotions will be made by the staff at Guaranteed Events Ltd and not subject to out side interference or control.
These terms and conditions apply to the Guaranteed Events Ltd Bridge Holiday League and Loyalty Points Scheme By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before entering.
The Promotion is open to all customers aged 18 years or over, except employees, Directors or hosts of Guaranteed Events Ltd.
The Promotion period begins on the 1st of January 2024.
The prize(s) for the Promotion will be as specified above on the top 20 League table.. The prize(s) are non-transferable and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
Winners will be notified by email within 7 days of the draw which take place on the 7th of February 2025. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 30 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
By entering the Promotion, participants agree to the use of their name, and entry in any promotional material, as well as their entry being published on this website and social media channels.
Personal information provided in connection with this Promotion will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Guaranteed Events Ltd reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion and these Terms without notice. Any changes to the Promotion will be notified to participants as soon as possible by Guaranteed Events Ltd.
Guaranteed Events Ltd decision in respect of all matters to do with the Promotion will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
By participating in the Promotion, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Bridge Holiday League is a registered trade mark.
Scottish Bridge Union congress, Bridge Club Live and Chess events are not included in these promotions.
